We can organise your event!
Since 2013 Cable and Wake has both lead and been part of 9 bespoke watersports events. The team has over 20 years experience in organising and full life cycle project managing small to big budget projects across NI and ROI making them the most experienced watersports events team in Northern Ireland. Projects have been funded by Belfast City Council, OFMDFM Good Relations, Big Lottery Fund, Sport NI, Fermanagh Borough Council and Waterways Ireland. Cross border events include the Dublin Docklands Summer Festival where the team have been involved for the last 3 years.
A notable example of a bespoke past event is the Belfast Maritime Festival's of 2013 and 2014 where they showcased a spectacular wakeboarding display using both cable and Mastercraft power boats. The biggest names in wakeboarding in Ireland and Europe took part showing off some of the most difficult and impressive air tricks. Riders included David O'Caoimh and David Coates, both members of the Irish Wakeboard team as well as famous international riders.
Driving participation is central to C&W's core values and so in many of our projects the public will have the opportunity to book in and receive one on one professional coaching during the event. This not only helps grow the sport of wakeboarding but it also improves engagement with the public attending the event. The watersports display is a fantastic marketing tool for any event as it promotes an active theme and creates an exciting atmosphere.
C&W is an affiliated club within the Irish Waterski and Wakeboard Federation. For the last 2 years they have hosted the Irish National Cable Wakeboard Championships as well as planned and managed the Irish National Boat Wakeboard Championships 2014.
